My new go-to strings

Clear highs and punchy lows. The rust resistance is not just marketing; these actually hold up against aggressive playing styles.

Perfect for humid climates

Living near the coast, my strings used to corrode in a week. These Roaddog KE-09 sets last me over a month with heavy playing. Highly recommended.

Smooth feel, great tone

The coating makes bending strings very smooth. The tone is slightly warmer than uncoated strings, but the trade-off for durability is worth it for daily practice.

Best value for coated strings

Usually, coated strings are expensive, but these offer premium performance at a mid-range price. No dead spots on the fretboard.

Incredible longevity

I've been using these Roaddog strings for three months now, and they still sound bright. The ion plating really seems to prevent the rust I usually get from sweaty hands.

Good intonation out of the box

Stayed in tune very well after the initial stretch. The only reason for 4 stars is that the packaging was a bit difficult to open, but the strings themselves are excellent.

5 FAQ

Q: How long is the warranty on these strings?

Q: Are these strings compatible with Floyd Rose tremolo systems?

A: Yes, the standard nickel ball ends on the Roaddog KE-09 set are fully compatible with Floyd Rose and similar locking tremolo systems.

Q: Can I use these on a 7-string electric guitar?

A: No, this specific KE-09/KE10 model is designed strictly for 6-string electric guitars. We do offer 7-string sets in a different product listing.
