Worth every penny
Initially hesitant about the price, but the extended lifespan makes them cheaper in the long run. My guitar sounds brighter than it has in years.

Perfect for studio recording
I use these exclusively for session work. They provide consistent intonation and zero finger squeak noise, which saves a lot of time during mixing.

Great sound, slightly slippery at first
The coating makes them feel very smooth, which took a day to get used to for bending notes. Once adjusted, the sustain and clarity are fantastic.

Smooth playability
The NANOWEB coating is barely noticeable but highly effective. Fast runs feel effortless, and the harmonic response is excellent on my Stratocaster.

Solid choice for gigging musicians
Played four gigs in a row without changing strings. They held their tune well under hot stage lights, though I wish the high E was slightly more robust.

Best longevity I've experienced
These strings last three times longer than my previous brand. The tone remains crisp even after weeks of daily playing without any signs of corrosion.
Q: Will the coating wear off quickly if I play aggressively?
A: The coating is bonded to the wire core for durability. While aggressive picking may eventually show wear at contact points, the anti-rust protection typically lasts significantly longer than standard strings.
Q: Do these strings come in a heavy gauge option?
A: Yes, Elixir offers this same NANOWEB technology in Heavy (.012-.052) and other gauges, which can be selected from the product variations menu.
Q: What is the exact gauge of the third string in this set?
A: In the Light (.010-.046) set, the third string (G) has a gauge of .017.
Q: Are these strings compatible with a Floyd Rose tremolo system?
A: Yes, these strings feature standard ball ends that are fully compatible with Floyd Rose and similar locking tremolo systems.
Q: How does the NANOWEB coating affect the tone compared to uncoated strings?
A: The NANOWEB coating is ultra-thin, designed to preserve the natural tone of nickel-plated steel while protecting against dirt and sweat, resulting in minimal tonal difference from uncoated strings.
