Solid everyday strings
These aren't premium boutique strings, but for practice and gigging, they are perfect. The hex-core makes them very stable. One set lasted me about three weeks of heavy playing.

Perfect for my Strat
Fits my Fender Stratocaster perfectly. The ball ends seated nicely in the bridge. Tuning stability is excellent after the initial stretch.

Decent but not long-lasting
Sound good initially, but they seem to corrode faster than some other brands if you have sweaty hands. Still, the 3-pack means I always have a backup ready.

Good brightness
Nice crisp sound that cuts through the mix. They lost a little bit of sparkle after two weeks, but considering the price per set, I can't complain at all.

Smooth feel under fingers
The nickel plating feels very smooth, making bends easy. No rough spots on any of the three sets I received. Highly recommend for beginners and intermediates.

A: The high E string in the AE530 model is .010 inches, as this is a Regular Light gauge set (.010-.046).
Q: Can I use these on an acoustic-electric guitar?
A: While physically possible to install, these are designed specifically for electric guitars. Using them on an acoustic-electric will result in very low volume when played unplugged.
