Perfect for gigging musicians
As someone who plays 4 nights a week, changing strings constantly was a hassle. These last through entire tours without losing their sparkle. Highly recommended.

Smooth playability
The NANOWEB coating makes bending strings incredibly smooth. My hand fatigue has decreased significantly since switching to this brand.

Consistent quality
Every set I buy sounds exactly the same. No duds, no weird intonation issues. Just reliable, great-sounding strings right out of the package.

Great tone, slightly slippery at first
The sound is crisp and clear. It took me a day to get used to the feel of the coating under my fingers, but now I love them. No more rusty strings!

Good value despite higher price
They are more expensive than standard strings, but since they last four times longer, the cost per use is actually lower. Great investment.

Best longevity I've found
I've been using Elixir strings for years. The coating really works; these stay bright for months unlike uncoated strings that die in a week. Worth every penny.
Q: How long does the coating typically last before peeling?
A: The NANOWEB coating is extremely thin and durable; it is designed to wear down gradually with play rather than peel off. Most users report the coating lasts the entire life of the string's tonal brightness.
Q: Are these strings compatible with Floyd Rose tremolo systems?
A: Yes, these strings feature ball ends that are fully compatible with Floyd Rose and similar locking tremolo systems.
Q: Do these strings rust easily if I sweat a lot?
A: No, the primary benefit of the Elixir coating is resistance to corrosion from sweat and oils. They are specifically designed to prevent rusting much longer than uncoated strings.
Q: What is the difference between model 19052 and 12027?
A: Both models refer to the same Light Gauge (.010-.046) NANOWEB coated string set. The different numbers often indicate specific retailer packaging or batch codes, but the product inside is identical.
Q: Can I use these on a 7-string guitar?
A: No, this is a standard set of 6 strings. For a 7-string guitar, you would need to purchase a dedicated 7-string set.
