Beautiful sheen
I bought this to make a decorative curtain panel with embroidered flowers. The satin finish catches the light perfectly. It was easy to work with and didn't pucker when I stitched.

Perfect for beginners!

Great quality for the price
The material is lovely and shiny. It frays slightly at the edges, so I recommend serging them before starting your embroidery work. Overall, a fantastic base for DIY clothing.
Q: Can I use this for making a full dress or just practice pieces?
A: Absolutely! While it is marketed as practice cloth, many customers use it for full DIY clothing projects like Hanfu, blouses, and skirts due to its high-quality faux silk finish.
Q: Does this fabric come pre-stretched or do I need to hoop it?
A: The fabric is sold by the yard/meter in its natural state. For best embroidery results, we strongly suggest stretching it tightly in an embroidery hoop before stitching.
Q: Are the colors solid or do they have patterns printed on them?
A: These are solid color base fabrics designed specifically for you to add your own embroidery. There are no pre-printed patterns on the material.
Q: What is the exact width of the fabric roll?
A: The standard width is approximately 110 cm (43 inches). Please note there may be a slight variance of +/- 2 cm due to the manufacturing process.
Q: Is this fabric suitable for machine washing?
A: We recommend hand washing in cold water to preserve the luster and integrity of the embroidery threads. Machine washing may cause fraying or damage to delicate stitches.
