Best gear upgrade this year
Clear, concise, and reliable. I love that it combines all three essential instruments in one compact unit without feeling bulky. The Taiwanese manufacturing quality really shows in the finish and attention to detail.

Solid instrument cluster
Very happy with the purchase. The pressure gauge has a nice smooth needle movement. The only minor issue is that the compass bezel requires a firm grip to turn, which is actually good for preventing accidental shifts, but takes getting used to.

Reliable under pressure
Used this on a recent trip to the Great Barrier Reef down to 40 meters. No fogging inside the lenses and all gauges performed flawlessly. The housing feels very durable against accidental bumps on the boat.

Great value, clear readability
The dials are large and easy to read even in murky water. The glow-in-the-dark feature works well for night dives. I took off one star because the clip feels a bit stiff initially, but it loosened up after a few uses.

Excellent build quality from Taiwan
I've been diving for ten years and this is one of the most robust console sets I've owned. The pressure gauge is very accurate compared to my tank fill station, and the compass settles quickly without sticking. Highly recommended for technical divers.

Perfect replacement set
My old console cracked, and this SB-SCUBA set was the perfect direct replacement. Installation was straightforward with standard fittings. The depth gauge is responsive and the compass is surprisingly precise for this price point.
Q: Is this gauge set compatible with DIN tanks or only Yoke valves?
A: This console includes a standard high-pressure hose with a 7/16" UNF fitting, which is typically used with Yoke (K-valve) tanks. If you use DIN tanks, you will need a DIN-to-Yoke adapter for the tank valve itself, as the hose connection remains the same.
Q: What is the accuracy tolerance for the depth gauge?
A: The depth gauge is calibrated to an accuracy of +/- 2% of full scale, which is standard for mechanical analog dive instruments in this category.
Q: Does the compass have a global needle balance or is it region-specific?
A: The compass features a globally balanced needle, making it suitable for diving in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres without needing adjustment.
Q: Is the console buoyant or does it sink if dropped?
A: The console is slightly negatively buoyant due to the glass lenses and solid housing materials. We strongly recommend attaching it to your BCD with a retractable reel or clip to prevent loss if dropped underwater.
Q: Can I replace the high-pressure hose if it gets damaged?
A: Yes, the hose is attached via a standard threaded fitting and can be replaced by any certified scuba technician using a compatible high-pressure hose. We recommend annual servicing to check hose integrity.
