Great performance, steep learning curve
The hardware quality is top-notch and the EtherCAT stack works flawlessly once configured. However, beginners might find the initial setup of the development environment a bit challenging without prior DSP experience.

Solid choice for prototyping
We used this for rapid prototyping of a new conveyor system. The PWM resolution is excellent for smooth motor operation. Only minor issue was the silk screen being slightly small on some pins.
