Good board but needs better examples
The board itself is powerful, but I struggled to find beginner-friendly Python examples for the NPU. Had to rely on community forums for help.

Solid industrial choice
We deployed ten of these for quality control inspection lines. They have been running 24/7 without issues for three months. Thermal management is excellent.

Perfect for my autonomous rover
Replaced an older Jetson module with this. The power efficiency is impressive, and the multiple camera interfaces allow for a full 360-degree vision setup.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
Hardware quality is top-notch with plenty of I/O options. Setting up the custom Yocto build took some time, but once running, it is very stable.

Excellent performance for edge AI projects
The 6 TOPS NPU handles my object detection models smoothly. The board boots Linux quickly and the documentation is surprisingly good for a domestic chip.

Impressive specs for the price point
For the cost, you get incredible compute density. The PCIe lanes are useful for adding extra NVMe storage. Would give 5 stars if the Android SDK was more mature.
Q: Is there active cooling required or does it come with a heatsink?
A: The board ships with a large passive aluminum heatsink. For heavy AI workloads in enclosed spaces, we recommend adding a small fan, though it is not strictly mandatory.
Q: Can I connect a 4G LTE module via the M.2 slot?
A: Yes, the M.2 Key B slot supports 4G/5G modules. Please ensure your module uses the USB 3.0 or PCIE interface depending on the specific key configuration.
Q: Do you provide C++ libraries for the NPU?
A: Yes, the RKNN Toolkit2 includes C++ APIs along with Python. We provide sample code for model conversion and inference in both languages.
Q: Does this board support Ubuntu 22.04 out of the box?
A: Yes, we provide pre-built images for Ubuntu 22.04 and Debian 11. You can download them from our official wiki repository.
Q: What is the power consumption under full load?
A: Under typical full CPU and NPU load, the board consumes approximately 8-10 Watts. A 5V/4A power supply is recommended for stability.
