Great hardware, documentation needs expansion
The board quality is top-notch with robust connectors and good thermal management. However, the English documentation could be more detailed regarding the specific FPGA constraints for this domestic chip. Once we figured out the toolchain settings, development was smooth.

Excellent domestic alternative for industrial projects
We switched to this board for our latest control system project to reduce supply chain risks. The FMQL20SM performs remarkably well as a Zynq-7020 alternative. The pinout is compatible with our existing designs, and the Linux boot time is impressive. Highly recommended for industrial automation.

Good value but check your toolchain version
Make sure you download the specific SDK version recommended by Tronlong. I initially tried using a generic flow and faced some synthesis errors. After switching to the provided environment, everything compiled and ran perfectly. Great board overall.

Perfect for learning embedded FPGA systems
Bought this for our university lab. It offers incredible value compared to imported boards. Students are able to run complex image processing algorithms on the FPGA fabric while managing the OS on the ARM core without issues. The community support is growing fast.

The logic cell count allows us to implement multiple motor control loops simultaneously. The FMC connector makes it easy to add custom I/O modules. Shipping was fast, and the packaging protected the board well during transit.
