Great value but documentation could be better
Hardware is solid and works flawlessly with Keil and STM32CubeIDE. However, the included schematic in the box was a bit low resolution. I had to download the full PDF from the manufacturer's site. Once set up, it runs great.

Reliable ARM M3 platform
I have purchased five of these for our team. The clock stability is excellent, and the power regulation handles voltage spikes well. The terminal blocks for power and communication are very convenient for quick testing without soldering.

Solid board for control logic
Using this to replace an aging PLC in a small conveyor system. The CAN bus integration is seamless. Only minor complaint is that the reset button is a little stiff, but that's a negligible issue for a stationary installation.

Perfect for industrial prototyping

Exceeded expectations
Coming from an Arduino background, this was a big step up. The 72MHz speed makes handling multiple sensor inputs trivial. The RS485 implementation worked immediately with Modbus libraries. Highly recommended for serious learners.

Best in class for the price
The component layout is logical, and the silk screen is high quality. Flashing firmware via SWD is fast and reliable. It handles the industrial noise in our workshop without any glitches. A must-have for embedded developers.

A: Yes, you can use this board with the Arduino IDE by installing the appropriate STM32 core package (e.g., STMicroelectronics STM32 Boards). You will need to select the 'Generic STM32F103VET6' board profile in the settings.
Q: Are there example codes available for the CAN bus functionality?
A: Yes, we provide a GitHub repository link in the user manual which contains example projects for Keil, IAR, and STM32CubeIDE demonstrating basic CAN transmission and reception, as well as RS485 Modbus examples.
Q: Does this board come with a bootloader pre-installed?
A: Yes, the board comes with a standard UART bootloader pre-flashed, allowing you to upload code via the serial port without an external programmer, though SWD/JTAG is recommended for debugging.
Q: Is the RS485 interface isolated?
A: This specific model features robust protection circuits including TVS diodes for surge protection, but it does not provide galvanic isolation. For highly noisy industrial environments requiring isolation, an external isolator module is recommended.
Q: What is the maximum input voltage for the power terminal block?
A: The onboard regulator supports a wide input range. You can safely supply between 5V and 24V DC to the green terminal block. The logic level remains at 3.3V regardless of the input voltage within this range.
