Perfect for PYNQ projects
This board works flawlessly with the PYNQ image. The dual Ethernet ports are a huge plus for networking experiments. Setup was straightforward, and the documentation provided by the seller was helpful.

Great value for Zynq-7020
Solid hardware for the price. The FMC connector allows for great expansion. I deducted one star because the heatsink gets quite warm under heavy load, but adding a small fan solved it.

Ideal for learning FPGA
As a student, this board offers everything I need to learn about SoC FPGA design. The combination of ARM and FPGA logic is easy to interface using the provided examples.

Good board, minor pinout quirks
The board functions well overall. Just be sure to double-check the pinout mapping for the Arduino header if you are using specific libraries, as it differs slightly from standard boards.

Exceeded expectations
Fast shipping and the board arrived in perfect condition. The JTAG programming via USB is very convenient. I've successfully run Linux and custom HDL designs without issues.
Q: Does this board come with a pre-installed SD card with PYNQ?
A: The board typically includes a 16GB eMMC flash with PYNQ pre-loaded. A MicroSD card slot is available for booting alternative images, but the card itself is sold separately unless specified in the bundle.
Q: Can I use Vivado WebPACK with this board?
A: Yes, the Xilinx Zynq-7020 is fully supported by Vivado WebPACK. You can download the free version from the AMD/Xilinx website to develop and synthesize your designs.
Q: Is there a schematic available for download?

Q: Are the FMC headers High Pin Count (HPC) or Low Pin Count (LPC)?
A: This StarLite board features two FMC Low Pin Count (LPC) connectors. They are suitable for most common expansion modules but do not support HPC-specific signals.
Q: What is the maximum input voltage for the DC jack?
A: The DC jack accepts a standard 5V input. Please do not exceed 5.5V to avoid damaging the onboard power management ICs. We recommend using a high-quality 5V/2A adapter.
