Great hardware, documentation could be better
The build quality is surprisingly good for the price. The servos are quiet and responsive. However, the manual assumes some prior knowledge of GPIO configuration. Still, a solid purchase for students.

Perfect introduction to embedded robotics
This kit is fantastic for learning STM32 architecture. The puppy moves smoothly, and the code examples provided are well-commented. I had it walking and avoiding obstacles within an hour of unboxing.

Solid development platform
Beyond just being a toy, this is a legitimate dev board. I stripped down the chassis to use the core board for a custom sensor project. The pinout is standard and easy to work with.

Fun project for teens
My teenager loved assembling this. It kept them busy for a whole weekend. The only downside is that the screws are quite small, so you need precision tools.

Bought five for our university club

Excellent value for money
I bought this to test some AI algorithms on edge devices. The STM32 chip handles basic logic perfectly. The open-source community support for this specific board model is also very active.
Q: What is the maximum weight the robot dog can carry?
A: The servos are designed for the robot's own movement. We recommend not adding more than 50g of extra payload to ensure smooth operation and prevent motor strain.
Q: Is a programmer/debugger included in the box?
A: The board has a built-in bootloader for USB uploading. However, for advanced debugging, an external ST-Link V2 programmer is recommended but sold separately.
Q: Is the source code for the demo behaviors available?
A: Absolutely. A QR code in the manual links to our GitHub repository containing all sample codes, including walking, dancing, and obstacle avoidance algorithms.
Q: Can I program this using Python?
A: Yes, you can use MicroPython or CircuitPython if you flash the appropriate firmware onto the STM32 board, though C/C++ via Arduino IDE or STM32CubeIDE is the native recommendation.
Q: Does this kit come with a battery included?
