Solid build quality

Perfect for Classroom Robotics

Son loves it!

Great starter kit, minor instruction gaps
The hardware quality is excellent and sturdy. I got my robot moving in under an hour. The only reason for 4 stars is that the included manual could have more Python code examples for beginners.

Good for learning I2C sensors
Using this to interface various sensors for a school project. The I2C pins are easily accessible. Wish it came with a few sample sensors, but the board itself works perfectly.
Q: Can I power motors directly from the USB port?
A: While the logic circuit runs on USB, we recommend using an external battery pack for motors to ensure stable performance and prevent brownouts.
Q: Are jumper wires included in the box?
A: Yes, the kit comes with a set of female-to-female jumper wires needed to connect sensors and servos to the board.
Q: Is there a warranty if a pin gets damaged?
A: We offer a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Physical damage due to misuse is not covered, but replacement parts are available for purchase.
Q: What Python library do I need to import?
A: You can use the standard 'microbit' module included in MakeCode Python or Mu Editor. Specific motor functions are accessed via the pin assignments detailed in our online wiki.
Q: Does this board support the new micro:bit V2?
