Perfect for academic research
We purchased five of these for our university lab. They are perfect for parallel computing research. The FMC connector allows us to attach custom daughterboards easily. Highly recommended for educational institutions.

Good kit, missing JTAG cable in my shipment
The board is fantastic, but my package arrived without the USB-JTAG programmer cable. I had to order one separately which delayed my project start. Once I got the cable, everything worked perfectly. Support was helpful in resolving the issue.

Solid performance for signal processing
I needed a board with significant Block RAM for buffering large data streams, and this kit delivered. The DDR3 interface is stable, and I haven't encountered any timing issues so far. Great value for money.

Excellent board for high-performance prototyping
The XC7K325T offers incredible logic density for the price. I used it for a real-time image processing project, and the DSP slices handled the workload effortlessly. The documentation provided with the kit was clear and helped me get started quickly.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The board itself is robust and well-built. All peripherals worked out of the box. However, if you are new to Kintex-7 architecture, be prepared to spend time reading the datasheets. Not a fault of the board, just the nature of FPGAs.

Best in class for mid-range Kintex development
Upgraded from a smaller Artix board and the difference in capability is night and day. The PCIe implementation guide included in the resources section saved me weeks of work. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Q: Does this board come with a license for Vivado Design Suite?
