Solid performance for the price
Using this to control a small rover. The PWM outputs are stable for motor control. It runs a bit warm under heavy load, but nothing concerning. Good build quality.

Great value, minor pin labeling issue
Excellent performance and low power consumption as advertised. My only critique is that some of the GPIO pin labels on the silkscreen are a bit small to read easily. Otherwise, a solid board.

Perfect for IoT projects
This ESP32 board is exactly what I needed for my home automation setup. The dual-core processing handles WiFi and sensor data simultaneously without lag. Setup with Arduino IDE was seamless.

Best bang for your buck
You simply cannot beat the features offered at this price point. WiFi, Bluetooth, plenty of memory, and fast processing. I've ordered five more for my next batch of sensors.

Bluetooth works flawlessly
I bought this specifically for a BLE beacon project. The Bluetooth range is impressive, and the connection stability is much better than the older ESP8266 modules I used previously.
Q: Is the antenna internal or external?
A: This model features an onboard PCB trace antenna. It does not have a connector for an external antenna, but the internal antenna provides sufficient range for most standard applications.
Q: Can I power this board with a 9V battery?
A: While the VIN pin accepts input voltages typically between 5V and 12V, powering it directly with a 9V battery is possible but not recommended for long-term use due to efficiency losses and heat generation in the regulator. A 5V source is ideal.
Q: Is this board compatible with the Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, this ESP32 development board is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE. You will need to install the ESP32 board manager package within the IDE preferences to get started.
Q: What is the maximum current this board can supply to external components?
A: The onboard 3.3V regulator can typically supply up to 600mA, but we recommend drawing no more than 500mA for external components to ensure stability and prevent overheating.
Q: Does it come with a USB cable included?
A: Yes, the package includes a standard Micro-USB cable for programming and power supply.
