Great hardware, documentation could be better
The STM32 integration is solid and the 4G connectivity is stable. I had to dig through some forums to get the OneNet configuration exactly right, but once set up, it runs without issues. Good value for the price.

Seamless Alibaba Cloud integration
If you are already in the Alibaba ecosystem, this is the board to get. The handshake and device shadow synchronization worked out of the box. The build quality is also surprisingly good for the price point.

Excellent learning tool
As a student working on a capstone project, this board was a lifesaver. It comes pre-loaded with demo code that connects to the cloud immediately. It helped me understand MQTT and cellular IoT concepts very quickly.

Perfect for rapid IoT prototyping
This board made connecting my sensors to Alibaba Cloud incredibly easy. The EC800M module has excellent signal reception, and the OTA update feature works flawlessly. Highly recommended for anyone building industrial monitoring systems.

Reliable CAT1 performance
I've deployed ten of these in remote locations for asset tracking. The CAT1 network coverage is sufficient, and power consumption is reasonable. The ability to push firmware updates remotely saves me a lot of travel time.

Solid for industrial control applications
We are using these for low-bandwidth telemetry in our warehouse. The connection is stable even in areas with weaker signals. The only minor issue is the antenna connector feels a bit delicate, so handle with care.

Q: What is the maximum data throughput for the EC800M module on this board?
A: The EC800M CAT1 module supports a maximum downlink speed of 10 Mbps and an uplink speed of 5 Mbps, which is ideal for telemetry and small payload transmissions.
Q: Does the package include the 4G antenna?
A: The standard package includes the development board and a USB cable. The 4G antenna with the IPEX connector is sold separately, but we often offer bundle deals. Please check the 'Accessories' section.
Q: Does this board support direct connection to AWS IoT Core?
A: While the board is optimized for Alibaba Cloud and OneNet, it uses standard MQTT protocols. You can connect to AWS IoT Core by modifying the endpoint configuration and certificates in the source code.
Q: Can I power this board directly from a 3.7V LiPo battery?
A: The board requires a stable 5V input. While it has some voltage regulation, we recommend using a dedicated 5V boost converter when powering from a 3.7V LiPo battery to ensure the cellular module functions correctly during transmission peaks.
