Good thermal performance

Runs cool even under heavy load without a fan, though I added a small heatsink just to be safe. The only minor issue is the power cable feels a bit short, but that's easily solved with an extension.

Best bang for buck in this category

Compared to other dev boards with similar specs, this offers the best price-to-performance ratio. The inclusion of SPI NAND alongside the SD slot gives great flexibility for firmware recovery and testing.

Great community support

Being part of the Banana Pi ecosystem means there is a decent amount of community help available. I managed to get a custom build running within an afternoon. Highly recommended for embedded developers.

Solid hardware, documentation could be better

The hardware quality is excellent, and the gigabit ports perform as expected. However, some of the GPIO pinout diagrams in the wiki were slightly confusing. Once figured out, it works like a charm for custom routing projects.

Excellent Wi-Fi 6 performance

I replaced my old router with this setup for testing. The dual-band Wi-Fi 6 speeds are impressive for a board of this size. The USB 3.0 port is also handy for attaching external storage for network shares.
