Perfect CAN Bus Implementation

Excellent for Industrial IoT
Used this for a gateway project involving Modbus. The dual RS-485 ports are truly isolated which saved me from grounding issues. Highly recommend for professional use.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
Powerful chip but requires good knowledge of STM32 HAL libraries. Documentation could be more detailed for beginners. Otherwise, performance is top-notch.
Q: Does the package include an ST-Link debugger?
A: No, the board does not include an onboard debugger. You will need an external ST-Link V2 or V3 programmer to flash firmware.
Q: Is the RS-485 interface galvanically isolated?
A: Yes, both RS-485 ports feature galvanic isolation to protect the MCU from voltage spikes on the communication lines.
Q: What are the logic voltage levels for GPIO?
A: All GPIO pins operate at 3.3V logic levels. Please do not connect 5V logic directly to the pins without level shifting.
Q: Does this board support the Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, this board is compatible with the Arduino IDE using the STM32duino package. You may need to select the generic STM32H7 series board.
Q: Can I connect external SDRAM to this board?
A: Yes, the FSMC interface is exposed via headers, allowing you to connect external SDRAM for expanded memory capabilities.
