Great entry-level FPGA
Perfect for learning Verilog and getting started with GOWIN tools. The USB-C programming is very convenient and the board feels sturdy.

RISC-V implementation works
Managed to load the soft core successfully. Performance is decent for basic embedded tasks. PMOD headers make expansion easy.

Good value but docs lacking
Hardware is solid for the price. I wish the example projects for the RISC-V core were a bit more detailed, but community support helps.

Compact and powerful
Fits easily into my custom enclosures. The 25K logic elements are enough for most of my signal processing experiments.

Nice PMOD support
Used it with several sensors via the PMOD interfaces. Voltage levels are standard 3.3V which matches most of my peripherals.
