Driver issues initially
Had to install CH340 drivers manually before the computer recognized the board. Once set up, it works fine.

Good value board
Pinout diagram could be clearer on the silkscreen. Otherwise, performance is solid for the price point.

Reliable connectivity
Wi-Fi range is impressive compared to older ESP8266 boards. Bluetooth pairing works smoothly.
Q: Is this compatible with ESP8266 code?
A: While similar, libraries may need adjustments. Most Arduino libraries support ESP32 specifically.
Q: Can I power it via the VIN pin?
A: Yes, VIN accepts 5V input. You can also power it via the Micro USB port.
Q: Is the antenna external or onboard?
A: This model features an onboard PCB antenna. No external antenna connector is available on this version.
Q: Does this support MicroPython?
A: Yes, it is fully compatible with MicroPython firmware. You can flash it using esptool.
Q: What voltage do the GPIO pins use?
A: The GPIO pins operate at 3.3V logic level. Please do not connect 5V sensors directly without level shifting.
