Perfect ESP8266 Upgrade
Much more stable Wi-Fi connection than my old boards. The Bluetooth LE support is a nice bonus for my home automation setup.

Excellent for IoT Prototyping
Works straight out of the box with Arduino IDE. The RISC-V architecture is fast enough for my sensor logs and Wi-Fi connectivity is stable.

Good Value Board
Solid performance for the price. Wish it had a built-in battery connector though, but otherwise meets expectations for development.
Q: What is the maximum current per GPIO pin?
A: Please refer to the official datasheet, but generally do not exceed 40mA per pin to ensure safety.
Q: Is the USB cable included in the package?
A: No, the board is sold without a USB cable. You will need a standard USB Type-C cable for power and programming.
Q: Does it support Bluetooth Classic or only BLE?
A: The ESP32-C3 supports Bluetooth 5 Low Energy (BLE) only, not Bluetooth Classic.
Q: Does this support MicroPython firmware?
A: Yes, the ESP32-C3 is fully compatible with MicroPython and CircuitPython frameworks.
Q: Can I power this with 3.3V directly on the VIN pin?
A: No, please use the 5V pin or USB for input. The 3.3V pin is an output unless specified otherwise in advanced guides.
