Works well but USB power isn't enough for full brightness. Use a 5V supply.

5 FAQ

Q: Which Arduino library works best?

A: Both Adafruit NeoPixel and FastLED libraries are fully compatible.

Q: Is a logic level shifter needed?

A: For 5V microcontrollers it is not needed. For 3.3V, a shifter is recommended.

Q: What is the current draw per LED?

A: Each LED can draw up to 60mA at full white brightness.

Q: Does it come with headers?

A: No, headers are not included to save shipping space. You will need to solder them.

Q: Can I daisy chain these modules?

A: Yes, you can connect the DOUT pin to the DIN pin of the next module.
