Smaller than expected
The quality is good, but I misread the dimensions. It's a bit smaller than I imagined for the price. Still looks nice on the balcony table, just make sure to check the weight range before buying.

Beautiful but dusty upon arrival
The stone itself is gorgeous and exactly as pictured. It arrived a bit dusty from shipping, but a quick rinse under the tap made it look brand new. Great addition to my living room shelf.

Unique shape, great quality
No two stones are alike, and mine has a wonderful upward sweeping shape. It feels heavy and solid. It adds a Zen vibe to my home office desk immediately.

Perfect centerpiece for my bonsai
The texture of this Taihu stone is incredible. It has deep crevices and a very natural look that complements my pine bonsai perfectly. The black color provides a stark, elegant contrast to the green foliage.

Authentic Taihu feel
As a collector of scholar rocks, I can say this is a genuine piece with good 'shou' (wrinkles) and 'lou' (holes). The porous surface holds moisture well for moss growth. Highly recommended.

Excellent for aquariums
I was worried about pH levels, but after soaking it for two days as recommended, it had no impact on my tank water. The fish seem to love hiding in the holes. Very realistic looking.

Q: Does this stone leach minerals that could harm fish?
A: Taihu black stone is generally inert. However, we recommend soaking the stone in fresh water for 24-48 hours and rinsing it thoroughly before placing it in your aquarium to remove any dust or loose particles.
Q: Can I glue moss to this stone?
A: Yes, absolutely! The rough, porous texture of Taihu stone makes it an excellent surface for attaching moss. You can use thread or safe aquarium glue to secure moss spores or strips.
Q: How should I clean this ornament?
A: Simply rinse with warm water and use a soft brush to remove dust or algae. Avoid using soaps, detergents, or chemical cleaners as they can damage the natural patina and may be unsafe for plants or fish.
