Perfect fit for my CNC encoder
This coupling solved the alignment issues I was having with my stepper motor and encoder. The flexibility is just right, absorbing minor misalignments without losing precision. Highly recommended for hobbyist CNC builds.

Excellent vibration damping
The spring element does a fantastic job of dampening vibrations from the motor. My encoder readings are much more stable now. Very happy with this purchase.

Easy installation
Installation was straightforward. The set screws held tight on the first try, and the zero backlash feature really helps with positioning accuracy. Will buy again.

Does the job well
Solid product. It connects my encoder shaft to the drive shaft perfectly. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions were minimal, but it's intuitive enough to figure out.

Good quality, slightly stiff initially
The build quality is excellent, very solid aluminum. It felt a bit stiff out of the box but loosened up after a few hours of operation. Works great for transmitting rotation smoothly.
Q: Can this coupling handle high-speed applications?
A: Yes, the LP Spring Coupling is designed to handle high rotational speeds typical for encoder applications, usually up to 4000 RPM depending on the specific bore size and balance.
Q: Do I need special tools to install the set screws?
A: No special tools are required. A standard hex key (Allen wrench) of the appropriate size, which is often included with similar hardware kits, will work perfectly for tightening the set screws.
Q: What is the maximum angular misalignment this can compensate for?
A: This elastic flexible coupling can typically compensate for angular misalignment up to 1.5 degrees, ensuring smooth operation even if the shafts are not perfectly aligned.
Q: What bore sizes are available for this coupling?
A: We offer various bore sizes ranging from 4mm to 10mm. Please check the specific variant selection dropdown or contact us for custom sizing options.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use?
A: While the aluminum alloy is anodized for corrosion resistance, we recommend installing it within an enclosure for long-term durability if exposed to harsh weather or moisture.
