Great for CNC Z-axis
Compensates for minor misalignment well. The clamp type makes installation much faster than set screws.

Solid build
Aluminum feels durable, screws are tight. Lost one star because the anodizing scratched slightly during shipping.

Good value
Works well for low torque applications. Make sure to measure your shafts accurately before ordering.
Q: Is lubrication required for the slider?
A: The slider mechanism is dry-fit. No additional lubrication is needed for standard operation.
Q: Does it introduce backlash?
A: Minimal backlash is present due to the clamp design, suitable for most stepper motor applications.
Q: Can I use this for a 10mm shaft?
A: Please select the specific variant labeled for 10mm. This listing covers 5mm, 6mm, and 8mm options primarily.
Q: What size hex key is required?
A: Typically a 2mm or 2.5mm hex key is needed for the clamp screws, depending on the specific shaft size variant.
Q: Does this handle angular misalignment?
A: It is designed primarily for parallel offset misalignment. For angular misalignment, a beam coupling is recommended.
