Great Value for Money
Bought 10 of these for a robotics class. All units worked out of the box. The build quality is solid for the price point.

Works Well Indoors
Great sensor for indoor use. Just note that strong sunlight can interfere with the infrared signal, so keep it away from windows.

Excellent for Robotics Projects
Used this on my Arduino smart car project. The detection range is consistent and easy to adjust with the potentiometer. Highly recommend for beginners.

Easy to Adjust Sensitivity
The blue potentiometer makes tuning the detection distance very straightforward. No complex coding required for basic obstacle avoidance.

Good Detection Accuracy
Range is accurate as described. I wish it came with jumper wires, but the header pins are standard size so any generic wire works.
Q: Is this compatible with STM32 microcontrollers?
A: Yes, as long as your STM32 board operates at 3.3V or 5V logic levels, this module is fully compatible.
Q: Can I use this sensor for outdoor robotics?
A: We do not recommend outdoor use. Direct sunlight contains infrared light which can interfere with the sensor's accuracy.
Q: Does this module provide analog output values?
A: No, this module outputs a digital signal (0 or 1) via the LM393 comparator. It is designed for obstacle detection rather than distance measurement.
Q: What is the maximum input voltage this module can handle?
A: The recommended operating voltage is 3.3V to 5V DC. Please do not exceed 5V to avoid damaging the comparator chip.
Q: Are connection cables included in the package?
A: The package includes the sensor module with header pins installed. Jumper wires are not included but can be purchased separately.
