Perfect for my Arduino Bot
Works exactly as described. Easy to calibrate the sensitivity potentiometer. Used it for a line follower project and it tracks well on black tape.

Solid sensor for the price. Detection range is short but sufficient for obstacle avoidance. Wish the jumper cables were included in the package.

A: The effective range is typically up to 25mm depending on surface reflectivity and ambient light conditions.
Q: Can I use this for detecting water levels?
A: This is designed for reflective surfaces like lines or solid obstacles. It is not recommended for liquids or water level detection.
Q: Does it come with jumper wires?
A: No, the module is sold separately. Standard 3-pin female-to-female jumper wires are required for connection.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, it works with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins using 3.3V logic. Ensure you connect the VCC to the 3.3V pin.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: Use the blue potentiometer on the board. Turn clockwise to increase sensitivity and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
