Easy to setup
Documentation could be better but once configured via the serial terminal, it works like a charm. Voltage requirements are standard 5V.

Perfect for ROS2 Robotics
Integrated smoothly with my ROS2 navigation stack. The serial output is stable and the range is accurate within specs. Great for obstacle avoidance.

Good accuracy, slight lag
Accuracy is spot on for indoor use. Noticed a tiny bit of lag at max frequency but overall solid performance for the price point.

Solid single-point sensor
Does exactly what it says. Not a scanning LiDAR but perfect for specific distance monitoring tasks. Build quality is decent.

Reliable for AGV
Using this on our automated guided vehicle project. Consistent readings even in varying light conditions. Highly recommend for industrial prototypes.
Q: Is this compatible with ROS2 Humble?
A: Yes, we provide a driver package compatible with ROS2 Humble and Foxy. Please check our GitHub repository.
Q: Does it support multiple units on one serial line?
A: Each unit has a unique ID. You can daisy-chain them but need to configure addresses individually via command.
Q: What cable connector type is included?
A: The module comes with a 4-pin GH1.25mm connector cable. USB adapters are sold separately.
Q: Can this be used outdoors in sunlight?
A: It works best indoors. Direct sunlight may interfere with the TOF measurement accuracy beyond 5 meters.
Q: What is the power consumption?
A: Typical current consumption is under 100mA at 5V. Peak current during laser emission may vary slightly.
