Excellent for tactile feedback
Integrated this into a robotic gripper project. The 16-point matrix provides enough resolution to detect object slip. Very happy with the flexibility.
Q: Can this sensor be bent repeatedly?
A: Yes, it is designed for flexible applications. Avoid bending radius less than 10mm.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, you can connect via I2C GPIO pins. Python scripts are available.
Q: Is the sensor waterproof?
A: It is splash-resistant but not fully waterproof. Do not submerge in liquids.
Q: What is the maximum weight capacity?
A: Each point can handle up to 20N. Distribute load evenly across the matrix.
Q: Do you provide sample code?
A: Yes, Arduino and Python libraries are hosted on our official GitHub repository.
