Corrosion after months
Works great initially, but the traces started showing corrosion after 3 months of constant water exposure. Good for intermittent use.

Good value but needs calibration
The sensor works well once you tune the potentiometer. Took me a few minutes to get the threshold right. Good build quality.

Perfect for Arduino Projects

Excellent Sensitivity
Very responsive to water droplets. I used it for a plant watering system. The output is stable and reliable.
Q: Does it output analog or digital signals?
A: This module outputs a digital switching signal (TTL).
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, it operates between 3.3V and 5V DC.
Q: Is it safe for saltwater applications?
A: We recommend fresh water only. Saltwater may accelerate corrosion on the PCB traces.
Q: Can this stay submerged permanently?
A: It is designed for detection, not long-term submersion. Prolonged exposure may cause corrosion.
Q: What is the length of the connecting wires?
A: The standard module does not include extended wires, just the header pins.
