Solid performance for the price
Accuracy is as advertised. Would prefer a waterproof casing option for outdoor projects, but the module itself is high quality.

Good range, slight warm-up needed
Works well for altitude hold. Noticed the first few readings drift slightly until the module warms up, but otherwise very reliable.

Perfect for my autonomous rover
Integration was straightforward using the UART interface. The distance readings are stable and consistent even in varying light conditions.

Reliable for warehouse automation
We deployed several units for inventory tracking. The I²C interface makes daisy-chaining multiple sensors easy.
Q: What logic level voltage does the UART use?
A: The module supports 3.3V and 5V logic levels, making it versatile for different microcontroller setups.
Q: Is this module compatible with Arduino Uno?
A: Yes, it is fully compatible. You can connect via UART or I²C pins depending on your library preference.
Q: Can this measure through glass or transparent surfaces?
A: We do not recommend measuring through glass as it may cause reflection errors or inaccurate readings.
Q: What is the maximum sampling frequency?
A: The standard sampling rate is up to 10Hz, but this can vary slightly based on the specific model and interface used.
Q: Does it work in direct sunlight?
A: Performance may degrade in strong direct sunlight. It is best suited for indoor or shaded outdoor environments.
