Better than the DHT11
Wider range and better accuracy. Worth the extra cost over the blue DHT11 sensor for serious projects.

Pin arrived bent
One pin was slightly bent in shipping. Bent it back and it works, but packaging could be more protective.

Good sensor, slow update
Reliable readings but remember it only updates every 2 seconds. Not suitable for rapid temperature changes.
Q: Is a pull-up resistor required?
A: Yes, a 10k ohm pull-up resistor between the data pin and VCC is required for stable communication.
Q: What is the maximum recommended cable length?
A: We recommend keeping connection wires under 20 meters to avoid signal degradation.
Q: Can I use this sensor outdoors?
A: The sensor itself is not waterproof. You must use a waterproof enclosure for outdoor applications.
Q: Does this work with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, it operates between 3.3V and 5.5V DC, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: Which library should I use for Arduino?
A: The Adafruit DHT library is widely recommended and supported for most platforms including Arduino.
