Reliable for inventory systems
We use these for shelf height detection. They have been running continuously for months without drift. Highly recommend for static measurement.
Q: What happens if the target is beyond 40 meters?
A: The module will return an error code indicating out-of-range measurement. It will not provide false data.
Q: Is there a Python library available?
A: We provide a basic SDK on our website. Community drivers for Python and Arduino are also available on GitHub.
Q: Can I use this outdoors in sunlight?
A: Direct sunlight may interfere with the laser sensor. It is best used indoors or in shaded conditions.
Q: What is the baud rate for serial communication?
A: The default baud rate is 9600bps, but it can be configured via command set in the manual.
