Easy to wire
The module form factor is much better than the raw sensor. The cable is flexible and the pinout is clearly marked on the PCB. Highly recommend for beginners.

Perfect for Arduino projects
Works straight out of the box. The included cable makes it very easy to connect to my breadboard without soldering. Readings are consistent for hobbyist use.

Decent but slow
The sensor works as expected, but the sampling rate is a bit low compared to newer models. Fine for most applications where real-time data isn't critical.

Reliable hobbyist component
Used it for my small greenhouse automation system. It has been running for weeks without issues. Temperature and humidity data logs look stable.
Q: What library should I use for Arduino?
A: We recommend using the Adafruit DHT sensor library. It is widely supported and easy to integrate with this module.
Q: Does it work with 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, the module operates within 3.3V to 5.5V, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontroller logic levels.
Q: How long can I extend the cable?
A: For reliable digital signal transmission, we recommend keeping the cable extension under 1 meter to prevent data loss.
Q: Can it measure body temperature?
A: No, this sensor is designed for environmental temperature monitoring only. It is not suitable for medical or body temperature measurements.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof?
A: No, the DHT11 module is not waterproof. It should be kept in a dry environment or housed in a protective enclosure if used outdoors.
