Stable Readings in Industrial Env
We deployed several of these for tilt monitoring on machinery. They have been stable over temperature changes and the SPI connection is reliable. No issues after 3 months of operation.

Excellent Precision for Robotics
Used this module for a balancing robot project. The noise level is very low and the I²C interface was easy to integrate with our STM32 controller. Highly recommended for precision tasks.

Good Value but Docs Could Be Better
The sensor works great and the price is reasonable. However, the register map documentation was a bit sparse. Once I figured it out, the angle calculations were accurate.

Solid Module for Prototyping
Works as expected for prototyping new sensor fusion algorithms. The only reason for 4 stars is the pin header was slightly loose on one unit, but soldering fixed it.

Easy to Interface with Arduino
Plug and play with most Arduino libraries available online. The voltage tolerance is nice since I can run it at 5V without a level shifter. Very satisfied with the purchase.
Q: Is this module compatible with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, the SC7A20H operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontroller logic levels.
Q: Does this require manual calibration before use?
A: The module comes factory calibrated. However, for high-precision angle measurements, we recommend performing a system-level calibration to account for mounting offsets.
Q: Can I mount this sensor vertically for tilt sensing?
A: Yes, the sensor measures acceleration on all three axes. You can mount it in any orientation, but you will need to adjust your algorithm to account for the gravity vector relative to your mounting position.
Q: What is the maximum SPI clock speed supported?
A: The SPI interface supports clock speeds up to 10MHz. Please ensure your master device is configured within this limit for reliable communication.
Q: Are there any Arduino libraries available for this sensor?
A: Yes, there are several open-source libraries available on GitHub that support the SC7A20H via I²C. You can search for generic 3-axis accelerometer libraries that allow register configuration.
