Exactly what I needed
Used this to close my skylight automatically. The large area sensor detects even light drizzle. Shipping was fast too.

Relay is a bit loud
Functionality is fine, but the mechanical click of the relay is quite loud if you are using this indoors. Great for outdoor use though.

Reliable and durable

Good sensor, needs calibration
The detection is accurate but I had to spend some time adjusting the potentiometer to avoid false alarms from humidity. Otherwise solid build.
Q: Can I extend the cable between the sensor and module?
A: Yes, you can extend the cable, but keep it under 5 meters to prevent signal loss or interference.
Q: What is the maximum load for the relay?
A: The relay can handle up to 250VAC at 10A or 30VDC at 10A. Please do not exceed these ratings.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, but ensure you use the 3.3V compatible output or a level shifter since the module operates at 5V.
Q: Does it come with screws for mounting?
A: The package includes the modules and cable. Mounting screws are not included, but the PCB has standard mounting holes.
Q: Is the sensor board fully waterproof?
A: The sensor pad is designed for water exposure, but the electronic components on the back should be protected from direct rain.
