Fast detection
Notices rain drops immediately. I used it to trigger a servo motor to close my window automatically.

Works great with Arduino
Easy to integrate into my weather station project. The sensitivity adjustment is very useful for different rain intensities.

Sturdy PCB
Well manufactured board. The traces look clean and the soldering points are solid for connecting wires.

Good sensitivity
Had to adjust the potentiometer slightly out of the box, but once calibrated it detects water drops reliably.
Q: What is the response time of the sensor?
A: Typically under 100ms depending on the sensitivity setting and the amount of water bridging the traces.
Q: Is the sensor pad replaceable if it corrodes?
A: The sensor lines are etched directly onto the PCB. If they corrode over time, the entire module would need replacement.
Q: Can it detect high humidity without rain?
A: It is designed for water contact detection. High humidity alone may not trigger it unless condensation forms on the board.
Q: Does it come with header pins included?
A: Yes, standard male header pins are included in the package for easy breadboard connection.
Q: Can I use this with 3.3V logic microcontrollers?
A: While the module is powered at 5V, the digital output is generally compatible with 3.3V logic inputs, but a level shifter is recommended for safety.
