Reliable Detection
Used this for my garden irrigation system to prevent watering during rain. Very sensitive and the adjustment knob helps fine-tune it.

Perfect for Arduino
Works exactly as described. I integrated it into my weather station project and the relay triggers consistently when water hits the sensor.

Good Quality
The PCB looks solid and the relay clicks loudly which confirms activation. Only wish the jumper wires were included in the pack.

Solid Build
Sensor plate is large enough for accurate detection. Sensitivity needs some tuning out of the box but works well once set.
Q: Can this module operate on 3.3V logic?
A: The sensor requires 5V power for the relay and comparator. While the output might be readable by 3.3V systems, we recommend using a 5V supply.
Q: Does it come with connecting cables?
A: This package includes the module and sensor plate only. Jumper wires are sold separately or can be sourced from your existing kit.
Q: What is the difference between NO and NC terminals?
A: NO is Normally Open and NC is Normally Closed. You can wire your load to either depending on whether you want the circuit open or closed when rain is detected.
Q: How do I clean the sensor plate?
A: Simply wipe the plate with a soft dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives that might damage the nickel coating.
Q: Is the sensor plate waterproof?
A: The sensor plate has a nickel coating suitable for outdoor exposure, but the main PCB module should be kept in a dry enclosure.
