Sensitivity calibration needed
Took some time to tune the potentiometer correctly. It was either too sensitive or not enough at first. Once set, it works fine.

Perfect for my automation project
Worked exactly as expected. I connected it to an ESP32 to close my skylight when it rains. The sensitivity is adjustable via the potentiometer.

Relay clicks loudly
Functionality is 100%. The relay makes a satisfying click when water is detected. Great for triggering alarms or pumps.

Good value but needs enclosure
The module works well, but remember the PCB itself isn't waterproof. Only the sensor pad is. I put the board in a plastic box and it's been great.

Fast shipping and well packaged
Arrived quickly. The sensor pad is large which is nice for detecting light drizzle. Using it for a garden irrigation shut-off system.
Q: Does the relay support Normally Closed (NC) connections?
A: Yes, the relay terminal block includes Common, Normally Open, and Normally Closed pins for flexible wiring.
Q: What is the length of the included connector cables?
A: The module comes with a 20cm Dupont wire set for easy connection to breadboards or microcontrollers.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic microcontrollers?
A: Yes, the digital output is TTL compatible. However, ensure your microcontroller ground is common with the module ground.
Q: Is the PCB coated for outdoor humidity resistance?
A: The PCB has a basic conformal coating, but for long-term outdoor use, we recommend placing it inside a waterproof enclosure.
