Sensitive to surface type
Works well on flat walls but gives erratic readings on fabrics or angled surfaces. You need to account for this in your code.

Perfect for my robot project
Works flawlessly with Arduino Uno. The distance readings are consistent and the library support is excellent. Highly recommend for beginners.
Q: Can I use this with 3.3V logic boards?
A: While VCC should be 5V, the echo output is 5V. You may need a voltage divider for the Echo pin if connecting to a 3.3V microcontroller.

A: The standard NewPing library works best for this module as it handles timing and multiple sensors efficiently.
Q: What is the accuracy?
A: Typically within 3mm under ideal conditions. Accuracy may vary based on surface texture and environmental temperature.
Q: How many pins does it have?
A: It has 4 pins: VCC, Trig, Echo, and GND. Please refer to the datasheet for the correct pinout orientation.
Q: Does it work underwater?
A: No, this is an air ultrasonic sensor. It is not waterproof and sound waves propagate differently in water.
