Good value but sensitive
Had to adjust the sensitivity carefully because ambient light affected it slightly. Once tuned, it works well for the price.

Ordered a pack of five, but one did not light up. The others work fine. Contacted support for a replacement.

Perfect for my Arduino Robot
Works exactly as described. I used three of these for a line-following robot and the response time is excellent. Easy to calibrate with the potentiometer.
Q: Does this work underwater?
A: No, this module is not waterproof and is designed for dry indoor or protected outdoor environments only.
Q: Can I adjust the detection range?
A: Absolutely. There is a blue potentiometer on the board that allows you to fine-tune the detection distance and sensitivity.
Q: Can it detect color differences?
A: It detects reflectivity differences rather than specific colors. It works best distinguishing between dark and light surfaces.
Q: What is the output logic level?
A: The output is a digital TTL signal. It outputs LOW when an obstacle or line is detected and HIGH when no object is detected.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V Arduino boards?
A: Yes, this module operates comfortably within the 3.3V to 5V range, making it fully compatible with standard Arduino boards like Uno and Nano.
