Perfect for my Arduino Bot
Works exactly as described. Easy to adjust range with the screw. Used it for obstacle avoidance and it reacts quickly.

Good sensor, slight light interference
Works well indoors. Sunlight affects it a bit outdoors so keep that in mind for outdoor projects. Otherwise solid.

Great value for money
Cheap and effective. Wiring is straightforward for beginners. Documentation online is plentiful too.
Q: Can I use this in direct sunlight?
A: Strong ambient light may interfere with IR detection accuracy. Shielding is recommended for outdoor use.
Q: Does it detect clear glass objects?
A: Infrared sensors generally struggle with transparent objects like glass due to light passing through.
Q: Is the output analog or digital?
A: This module provides a digital TTL output signal indicating presence or absence.
Q: How do I change the detection distance?
A: Use the blue potentiometer on the back of the module to adjust sensitivity and range.
Q: Can this work with 3.3V logic microcontrollers?
A: It operates at 5V, but the output signal may interface with 3.3V MCUs. Check your specific board tolerance.
