Great for Arduino projects
Works perfectly with my obstacle avoidance robot. The range is consistent and the documentation helped me wire it up quickly.

Good accuracy
Measured distance well in my testing setup. The pins are a bit tight on the header, but overall a solid sensor for the price.

Needs pull-down resistor
Had some noise issues on the echo pin until I added a pull-down resistor. Works fine now, but required extra components.
Q: What is the beam angle of the ultrasonic transducer?
A: The effective beam angle is approximately 15 degrees, which helps in targeting specific objects.
Q: Does this module work underwater?
A: No, this sensor is designed for air measurement only and is not waterproof or suitable for submersion.
Q: Can I connect multiple sensors to one microcontroller?
A: Yes, you can connect multiple units by using different GPIO pins for the Trigger signal on each sensor.
Q: Is there a specific library for Arduino?
A: The standard NewPing library is fully compatible with this module and simplifies the coding process.
Q: Can I use this sensor with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, but we recommend using a logic level converter for the Trig and Echo pins to ensure stable communication.
