Good sensitivity
Reliable detection. Only giving 4 stars because it can be triggered by strong sunlight if not shielded properly. Great for indoor use.

Needs Calibration
Works okay but took some time to calibrate the threshold. Documentation could be better. Once set up, it functions well.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: It is designed for indoor use. Direct sunlight contains infrared radiation that may cause false positives.
Q: Are libraries available for Arduino?
A: Yes, standard digital read functions work. Many community libraries exist for fire safety projects.
Q: Does it output analog data?
A: This specific model provides a digital switching output. For analog readings, please check our analog flame sensor variants.
Q: What is the maximum detection range?
A: Under ideal conditions with a strong flame, it can detect up to 100cm. Typical range is 30-50cm for small flames.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V logic?
A: Yes, this module operates comfortably within 3.3V to 5V DC.
