Good value, wiring needed care
The modules work well overall. Just be careful with the dupont wires as the pins are slightly thin. Once connected properly, the detection is reliable for my automation setup.

Sensitivity varies between units
Most of the sensors worked great, but one out of the five required a bit more pressure to trigger compared to the others. Still usable, but something to note.

Plug and play with Uno
Very easy to integrate. No complex libraries needed, just use digitalRead. The LEDs on the board help with debugging too. Highly recommend for beginners.

Perfect for my sumo robot project
These sensors are exactly what I needed for obstacle detection. They respond instantly upon contact and the voltage levels work perfectly with my Arduino Uno. Great value for a 5-pack.

Great bulk pack for students
Bought these for my robotics class. Having five in a pack is convenient for group projects. They are durable enough to handle student use and wiring mistakes.
Q: What is the maximum current draw for one module?
A: The current consumption is very low, typically under 20mA when the signal LED is active, making it safe for standard GPIO pins.
Q: Can these sensors be used outdoors in the rain?
A: No, these modules are not waterproof or weather-sealed. They are designed for indoor use or protected enclosures only.
Q: Is this module safe to use with 3.3V logic boards like ESP32?
A: Yes, the module operates within the 3.3V to 5V DC range, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic systems without needing a level shifter.
Q: Do I need to install a specific library to use this?
A: No special library is required. You can control it using standard digital input functions available in the base Arduino IDE.
Q: Does this provide analog output or just digital?
A: This specific module provides a digital TTL output signal. It switches between High and Low states upon collision detection.
