Solid performer
Noticed a significant drop in idle and load temperatures. The only minor downside is that it can be slightly tricky to position perfectly on irregular chip shapes, but once set, it's fantastic.

Clean application process

Great results but requires heat to activate
Temperatures are excellent once the pad has gone through a few heat cycles. Just remember it stays solid at room temperature, so don't expect it to spread like liquid paste immediately. Give it time to work.

Best upgrade for my gaming laptop
My laptop was throttling heavily during gaming sessions. After replacing the old dried paste with this Honeywell 7950 pad, temperatures dropped by 12 degrees Celsius instantly. Installation was clean and mess-free compared to traditional paste.
Q: Do I need to apply any thermal paste along with this pad?
A: No, you should not use additional thermal paste. The Phase Change Material is designed to be used alone as a complete interface between the chip and the heatsink.
Q: Is this safe for use on PlayStation or Xbox consoles?
A: Yes, the Honeywell 7950 is widely used by the community for console repasting as long as the chip surface is flat and the pad is cut to the correct size.
Q: Can I reuse this pad if I remove the heatsink?
A: Generally, it is not recommended to reuse the pad once it has been heated and adhered. For best thermal performance, please apply a fresh piece when re-installing the heatsink.
Q: What is the shelf life of this product?
A: When stored in its original packaging at room temperature, the material has a very long shelf life and will not dry out like traditional thermal pastes.
