Rich tone and great projection
As a classical instructor, I've played many entry-level guitars. This Hofner stands out because of the solid top. It projects well in a room and has a balanced bass and treble response. A steal at this price.

Great sound, minor finish flaw
The guitar sounds beautiful and stays in tune well. There is a tiny scratch on the back near the strap button, which is likely why it was on clearance, but it doesn't affect the sound at all. Very happy with the purchase.

Incredible value for a solid top

Perfect size for my daughter
Bought the 36-inch model for my 10-year-old. The neck width is comfortable for her small hands, and the action was set up nicely right out of the box. The German craftsmanship really shows.

Solid beginner instrument
Good build quality and nice aesthetics. The strings it came with were okay, but I swapped them for premium nylon strings which made it sing even more. No structural issues despite being a clearance item.
