Beautiful but delicate
A gorgeous reproduction of a classic portrait. The colors are vibrant. Just be careful when unrolling it as the silk is quite thin, which is expected for this type of art.

Excellent craftsmanship
The wooden rollers are smooth and the silk has a nice sheen to it. The facial expression of the Emperor captures his authority perfectly. Highly recommended.

Authentic feel

Stunning historical piece
The detail in Emperor Li Shimin's robes is incredible. The silk quality feels authentic and the mounting is very sturdy. It looks magnificent in my study.

A: Please roll it loosely with the painting facing outward (if possible) or follow the included care card, and store it in the provided protective tube in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Q: Can this be framed behind glass?
A: While you can frame it, hanging scrolls are traditionally displayed without glass to appreciate the texture of the silk and the movement of the rollers. Glass may cause glare and trap moisture.
Q: Is this an original antique or a modern reproduction?
A: This is a high-quality modern reproduction painted on silk using traditional techniques. It is not an antique artifact from the Tang Dynasty.
