Excellent for learning Regular Script

As someone studying Kaishu, these brushes provide excellent control. The mixed hair offers a good balance between flexibility and stiffness. The included guide paper is very helpful.

Everything you need in one box

I appreciate that this kit includes the four treasures of the study. It removes the guesswork for beginners trying to figure out what to buy. The clerical script brushes are particularly nice.

Perfect starter kit for my hobby

I wanted to try calligraphy for years and this set had everything I needed. The brushes hold ink well and the paper is thick enough not to bleed too much. Highly recommended for absolute beginners.

Great value for money

The quality is surprisingly good for the price. The wolf hair brushes have a nice snap to them. I only wish the ink bottle was slightly larger, but overall a solid purchase.
