Great quality, slightly stiff at first

The craftsmanship is evident. The brush was a bit stiff out of the package but softened nicely after the first wash. Now it writes beautifully for Ou Yangxun scripts.

Perfect for practicing Yan style

These brushes have incredible spring. The mixed hair holds a lot of ink without dripping, making my long strokes in Yan Zhenqing style much smoother. Highly recommended for serious beginners.
